It’s Tax Season Again….. Although the Library offers basic federal and state tax forms for patron use, we recommend that you print your own paper tax forms and instructions using the links below…

Each year more and more Wisconsin taxpayers are filing their state and federal income tax returns electronically. E-filing is a free and secure way to file your income tax returns. It also allows those receiving refunds to get them within days–rather than weeks– by using direct deposit taking advantage of these e-filing applications. Preschool Fun Offered!…….

The Staff at the Library have planned weekly programs on Thursdays and Fridays for preschool children beginning Thurs. Feb. 2 for preschoolers!!

ToddlerTime, a 25-minute program, will be featured at 10 a.m. on Feb. 2 for children ages 1 – 3 and their parents or caregivers.     Miss Lorie will be featuring ‘Snow Stories!’

Feb. 3 will feature StoryTime at 10 a.m. for children ages 3 – 5.  This 35-minute program with Miss Tammy will feature the theme ‘Such Silly Stories’!

Book Celebrations on Tues. Feb. 7 @ 6:30 p.m….

Kids ages 4 through 10 and their families are invited to ‘Book Celebrations’ at the Library!   During this evening family program, everyone are invited to join the librarians in wearing their pajamas as the library has a pajama party to celebrate February birthdays of some of their favorite authors!  Milk & cookies will be served.

Enjoy great stories by Jerry Spinelli, Russell Hoban, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Jane Yolan, Mo Willems, Judy Blume…..and more!!

Poetry Reading Offered Feb. 14 1 p.m……

Linda J. Gildemeister of Random Lake will offer a reading from her new collection of poems “Poetic Pathways Vol. 2: Poetry of Love’! 

Linda has had no formal training writing poetry but writing has always come easily– she has written well over 8,000 poems. She has enjoyed writing poetry every since her teen years.  This collection of poems were written while and just prior to marrying her husband of 30 plus years.

The public is invited to this free event.  In honor of Valentine’s Day chocolate candy will be served!

 Will be showing Moneyball at 1 and 6 p.m…….  Starring Brad Pitt as the Oakland A’s General manager who defies coventional wisdom and outsmarts his competition when forced to reinvent his team with bargain players.  A film based on the book “Moneyball: the Art of Winning an Unfair Game’ by Michael Lewis.
