OPENING OUR DOORS: AN UPDATE
We are excited to announce that we will be opening our doors again on Monday, June 8th.
We will be open our regular hours.
We are limiting occupancy to 10 people at a time. Please ring our doorbell for admittance. Chairs will be outside if there is a brief wait time due to occupancy limits. The wheelchair lift is accessible.
Based on recommendations from the Sheboygan County Health Department, masks are required for all guests over the age of 2. Please limit your browsing to only picking up items you wish to check out.
We ask that you please limit your visits to browsing for materials and for computer use. We are unable to provide any one-one-one tech assistance at this time due to social distancing recommendations.
The Children’s Exploratory Learning Center will not be open. All Summer Reading Program activities will be online. Take ‘n’ Make craft activities are available for all ages each week through July. Call to reserve your kit. All other in-person programs and groups are temporarily suspended.
Contactless curbside pick-up will be continuing for the foreseeable future. You MUST place all requests by the evening before the day you schedule your pick-up.
Interlibrary delivery through Monarch Library System will begin operating 3 days a week. For faster service, please limit your requests to items that our library owns.
You may continue to return items only during open hours in the blue bin outside the library OR inside.
No overdue charges for the foreseeable future–we will inform you when those start up again. As a reminder, when you return items, we quarantine them for up to one week and then sanitize them before checking them in. If you see the items still on your monarchcatalog.org account and they have been on there longer than one week since you returned them, please give us a call.
It is our goal as your library to keep ALL people safe at all times. Anyone above the age of 2 who chooses not to wear a mask will not be admitted to the Library and we encourage them to take advantage of our curbside services. If you do not have a mask, you will be given a reusable cloth mask free of charge.
Please do not come into the library if you are experiencing fever, chills, sore throat, cough, runny nose, diarrhea, fatigue, new loss of taste or smell, nausea or vomiting, trouble breathing, muscle and body aches, confusion, or pain in your chest. THANK YOU.
We cannot wait to see you all again and will be taking health and safety into consideration at ALL TIMES.
