Summer Reading Program!

It’s that time again – time to kick off the library’s Summer Reading Program! What’s that, you ask?

  • Keep a log of the books you read over the summer – each book you read gets you a raffle ticket. The more you read, the higher your chances of winning. We’ll be having a big prize drawing at 5pm on August 18th at our End of the Summer Party!
  • Think you’re a big-time reading addict? The person who reads the most books in their age range will also win a top secret grand prize at the end of the summer! Yup, that’s five grand prizes – one for each age group!
  • The program is open for everyone from pre-kindergarten kids to adults – if you’re reading this summer, you’re not too young or too old to sign up! The five age groups are Pre-K, K-2, 3-5, 6-12, and adult.
  • And, of course, there are tons of cool events happening all summer long! Check out our calendar – we’ve got everything through the end of August posted – or stop by the library and pick up a printed copy. Oh, and as an added bonus – if you attend a Summer Reading Program event (marked in green on our online calendar) or our monthly book club, you’ll get a raffle ticket!

Support Us While Shopping At Amazon

Did you know that you can support us when you shop at Amazon.com? By shopping through the Amazon Smile program, nothing changes on your end – but Amazon will donate a percentage of your purchases to the charity of your choice. You can use this link to set us as your Amazon Smile charity.

Got A Collection?

The library’s display case is available for area residents, young and old, to show off collections of any kind. Whether it be rocks, Beanie Babies, or prized antiques, the locked case is yours to fill!

You can take a look at our policy for displays at the check-out desk at the library and sign up to reserve a spot on our calendar. We can’t wait to see what you collect!
