Historian Jim Gibbons will take you through two of the most catastrophic wars in our nation’s history, highlighting significant events that thrust the United States into two unwanted wars. These events include the Assassination of the Arch Duke Ferdinand, the sinking of the luxury liner Lusitania, Hitler’s ambition to achieve power, the attack on Pearl Harbor, the dropping of the Atomic Bomb and much more!

Kids ages 5 and up are invited to build with the Library’s Lego Collection!  Everyone is invited to dive into containers filled with these colorful building blocks and create a work of art!
