Little Free Libraries provide free books to the community to encourage literacy and to promote the joy of reading. Today, through the Little Free Library organization, there are 50,000 Little Free Libraries around the world!

With the generosity of the Library’s Endowment Fund in 2020 and area artists, the Library is proud to be a part of that achievement with multiple Little Free Libraries around the area. In addition to serving as public Art, the Little Free Libraries continue the library tradition of public access to information. At any of the Little Free Libraries, you don’t need a library card to “take a book, leave a book.” The selection changes often as people contribute books and take others. Participate, share and enjoy the Little Free Libraries in your community.
