The Friends of the Lakeview Community Library (FLCL) are fun-loving contributors of the library: we work to provide the library with service and support. We fundraise & provide those funds for library needs, and represent patrons who enjoy all the library provides, including complimentary books, digital resources, technology, exciting programs, event space, and more! We support and advocate for the library in local communities as well as making sure the library is aware of these communities’ needs. We are a non-profit, tax-exempt organization.

Based on our calendar of events, monthly meetings, and library needs, a Friend of LCL will:

  • Create and share ideas
  • Vote to distribute funds
  • Volunteer for programs and events
  • Participated in various library activities and projects

As a group, we will provide:

  • Sparkling conversation during meetings and events
  • Outlets for you to show your creativity and special talents
  • A way for you to have fun outside of work, the daily routines, and responsibilities

Membership involves your charming personality and volunteering your time occasionally and attending quarterly meetings. There are no dues, but only that you provide your unique feedback, voting voice, and support for library needs and fundraising events.
