Ancestry for Libraries

UPDATE:

Ancestry for Libraries is now available to Lakeview Community Library patrons from home for a limited time.

For a limited time, Ancestry for Libraries is available at home to those with a Lakeview Community Library card.

Follow these instructions:

1. Patrons will need to first log in with their library card at https://badgerlink.dpi.wi.gov/login

Simply select Lakeview Community Library from the list and enter your barcode without any spaces.

2. After a successful login on the site, the page will automatically load to https://badgerlink.dpi.wi.gov/resources — this page can be ignored.

3. Patron will need to then click on https://www.wiscat.net/ext/validateglobal.php?cid=stwi&lid=stwi&dataid=147

The Friends of Lakeview Community Library have graciously supplied the funds necessary to allow anyone on a Library computer or on wi-fi within the Library access to Ancestry for Libraries.
